Have been out fishing 2-3 days a week, and results have been great 6-12yellowtail on 3/4-full day trips. Yellowtail have been finicky on the vertical jigs, but very responsive to the deep divers. (Rapala 40 MAG, Nomad DTX 200) met some great people from several US **hidden content** CA, AZ, WA, NM. Come get your yellowtail while season is full blast. Beautiful day out at the san pedro island. Morning was action packed getting tight on 3 above average yellowtail (Jurel). Things slowed down for a couple of hours. But activity came back strong, landing a decent red snapper and two more Yellowtail. A couple of calico bass kept us busy. Hooked up a big fish either a big Cabrilla or a broomtail grouper, we could not tell and unfortunatly lost the fish. Nomad dtx minnows and nomad squidtrex were working hard. Quick 6 hour rip with my family. Managed 2 bull mahi mahi (Dorado) and a big Sailfish. Water was rough but the 28 foot Albin handled it like nothing. Great day fishing and awesome day at the dinner table.
