Nicer weather and fishing picking up

Spanish mackerel and blue fish trolling has been very good nice size Spanish mackerel and some 10 to 12 lb blue fish mixed in mostly trolling with some casting to the blues and jigging season's about over for them getting ready to head back up north for the summer months usually catch the bigger fish this time of year right before the end get in on the last chance for the year to catch these great tasting Spanish mackerel. And hard fighting bluefish. Thought we'd throw in a picture of our pelican buddy George.

With all this windy weather the nearshore trips have been producing pretty well catches of up to 35 Spanish mackerel with a few blue fish 10 to 15 lb mixed in mostly trolling near the mouth of the port staying out of the rough Waters. Great trip for the kids pretty steady action and a little bit of sightseeing.

Got a promising week of weather and looks like good fishing coming up some big blue starting to show up Spanish mackerel Lady fish and a few red fish thrown into the mix shark fishing has been hit and miss when it's good it's really good. Few pictures from past trips
