The fishing has been nothing short of incredible. This timenof year can be the toughest fishing and weather conditions with a lot of high winds and post frontal conditions. Despite the challenges, we have been absolutely tearing up the oversized trophy trout. Lets hope this bite stays on fire and we can make a trip of a lifetine happen!

Started off leaving the dock at 6am to a beautiful sunrise over St. Andrews Bay. After a 15 minute commute down Grand Lagoon we set the lines out. Within just a few minutes we had fish on. The bite was fast to start and the dolphins were hungry too. They stole as many to eat as we brought back. Talk about some exciting action, there is nothing more powerful than a dolphin on the other end of the line trying to steal your fish!

New Smyrna Beach Fishing Report - April 2026 (Redfish, Snook & Spring Bite Heating Up) If you're thinking about getting out on the water, April is shaping up to be a great month here in New Smyrna Beach. The spring bite is picking up, water temps are rising, and we’re seeing solid action across multiple species. ? What’s Biting Right Now Redfish: Redfish have been consistent in the backcountry and along the flats. Early mornings and late afternoons have been the best, especially on higher tides. Live bait and artificial lures are both producing. Snook: Snook are starting to turn on with the warmer water. We’ve been finding them around docks, mangroves, and deeper edges. They’re still a little picky, but the bite is getting better each week. Trout: Speckled trout are active in the grass flats, especially when there’s good moving water. Popping cork rigs and soft plastics are working well. Tarpon (Starting to Show): We’re beginning to see early signs of tarpon moving into the area. It’s not peak season yet, but things are lining up for a strong run in the coming months. ________________________________________ ? The variety of species, improving conditions, and lighter crowds make it a great time to get on the water whether you're experienced or brand new to fishing. We've had a few days of rough weather and a cold snap that you would think would throw off the bite but these fish gotta eat. These guys wanted a reef trip and we managed a 3 man limit of trigger, 2 short of a limit of bliner and a few porgy in the shallows. The fish are still chewing and now so are these guys from Michigan! ?

We had a blast today on our morning charter, with plenty of action on the lure rods, as well as some Pompano hitting the rigs. The bluefish were thick, getting them almost every cast this morning, as well as landing a very nice red fish on a lure tons of fun! Also got a unicorn in the surf, an orange file fish. Huge multi species day today. Come join in on the action!
