As we approach summer the water has reached the ideal temperature of 72-76 degrees. The fish are fired up! With the rivers still pumping lots of freshwater into the bay, that leads to catching a variety of species in the bay/marshes. including some freshwater species. Redfish, trout and hybrids were in abundance on this day. Most of the fish were the perfect size to bring home. The fish were caught on a variety of baits, live shrimp and artificial lures. But throughout may I expect big bull reds to still be found!
