Fall fishing is heatng up

As January rolls along we have been enjoying some very favorable temperatures. The very strong pompano have showed up and are ready for the battle . The trout are Hungry and are feeding . They are both great table fare. We have some availability this month and have a few dates still open in march when the bite will be on ?. Capt David Finntastick charters

The water here on the nature coast has cooled off a pinch therefor the dinner bell has started to ring . This is signal its time to come in and fatten up for the winter ahead. The trout are showing up in large numbers and are redfish still schooled up and feeding . We are also seeing a few cobia on our flats . Scalloping season has slowed down to a simmer. However the Redfish bite continues to strengthen . They are schooling up and are on the bite . I would say the bite will stay strong into September . September is when we will also see the trout begin to return from offshore. We of course are catching a few still along with our redfish . This time of year the near shore rocks are full of excitement. With every drop of a shrimp there is a pull on the line. Generally catching mangrove snapper and grunts. Btw I consider some of the best table fare out there. The fall season is booking fast so now is the time to get on the schedule for one of my favorite times of the year to fish here on the nature coast . Capt David Maki Finntastick charters
