We're starting to get into our best drift fishing season of the year. Technically it is May through August, but we start doing better and better as we get into late March. Mutton snappers are showing up for us and not all of them have been throw back. A few nice ones here and there are biting. Groupers are biting like mad of course. They know when they aren't in season. Lots of other small bottom fish like lane snappers, mangroves, grunts, porgies and triggers are biting too. If you want to fish for kingfish, you have a decent shot of hitting one. Good luck to everyone fishing this week. I'll sea ya on the water.
