Snook season opens September 1st. Our recent trips have produced smaller Snook with a few slot size ones that are just waiting for season to open!! We have caught some nice Redfish, Spotted Trout and Mangrove Snapper inshore around the islands and some Goliath Grouper (catch and release only) offshore on the wrecks. Summer fishing was great with some serious catching of Tarpon, Trout, Redfish, Snook and Grouper! While live bait works a good amount of the time, use of artificial baits such as top water plugs, jerk baits and paddletails have been producing well also!
