Make sure to bring sunscreen. Todd did provide an ice chest full of water which was great! Todd was super friendly and knowledgeable! Definitely recommend checking him out if you’re interested in getting some fishing in while in the area.

We saw dolphins, a manatee, a sea turtle, osprey, pelicans, egrets, herons, and roseated spoonbills. We also caught a sea robin (fish), which was unique for us to experience.

If fishing in Feb/early March be prepared for windy and brisk conditions. even when the sun is out it can be cool. As a Florida resident I also caution folks escaping the cold to be careful about a sunburn even on a cool breezy day. Fish with Clay- Have a great day!

Check the weather report. If it is supposed to be rough outside, book a smaller boat that is able to get into more shallow spots inshore. Booking a large boat in bad weather severely reduces the area that can be comfortably covered.
