The best fishing has been on the drop-offs and reef edges, where these predators ambush baitfish in the strong currents. Morning and late afternoon have been the prime windows, with tides playing a big role in fish activity. Our friends from Spain traveled all the way to Hurghada for one mission—targeting sport fish on jigs and poppers.
