Hope the fish stick around for the holidays.

Extremely tough week in the backwaters and inshore creeks. Very few Trout and BlackDrum, and only several "rat" Reds to our credit. Small craft advisery wind conditions and some of the most elevated tides of the year were two huge obstacles in our way of success. As tides and winds come back to normal next week, hopefully, the October fishing scene will rebound. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it.

Light wind, plenty of Sunshine, and cooler water temps really allowed anglers to enjoy the Redfishing. Some crazy ultralight casting for Blues was also on the docket, but Bull Reds, as well as a few Sharks were the main ticket. All signs point to an enjoyable rest of the month.
