With anticipation of another hot humid day, I suggested to my clients a much earlier start. And it paid off. All walleye strikes were before 8:30 am. Started right at 5 am, once that sun came up it was tight lips for walleye. Bent rods on bass to finish the day. River temp 73 degrees. Bluebird skies and extreme heat. Virtually no wind until 9am. Jigging took the most fish
