Redfish Slam!

I had Garrett and Ben on board from Colorado on Saturday for some really good redfish action. The stormy weather had the water dirty, so we headed to a secluded area between Lake Borgne and Lake Pontchartrain and found some hungry redfish and a few specks. We we using live shrimp under popping corks and the action was good early but then slowed down, so we moved around a little until the bite ended. We then ventured over to the tressels in Lake Pontchartrain and ended the day picking up one more redfish and a big freshwater channel cat. The guys were great fisherman and a blast to fish with. I am booking up fast in April and May so pick a date and let's go fishing!
