We have enjoyed a long and hot warming trend with air temps in the 80’s and 90’s leading to higher water temps seeing a spike in our fishing. Now we have many options for fishing and all are good. Largemouth bass are moving up shallow to spawn and were catching some really nice big bass. White bass are also moving up rivers and tributaries to make their spawn as well with the stripers and hybrids mixed up with them as well. We have been blessed with a warming trend here in central texas and it has continued to ramp up our fishing. The white bass have been staging at their classic areas to spawn and they are very hungry. These fish provide lots of action and fun and a generally pretty easy to catch which is perfect for kids and novice anglers. The stripers and hybrids havent been too far behind and we are catching those on live bait and the fly. Largemouth bass have also been biting out deep and up shallow. I highly reccommend booking the date you want now because half of march and half of april are already booked up. Midweek morning trips fish the best this time of year. Afternoon trips work well too especially the fly trips in the afternoon.
