Crossed the pond

Another solid day finishing 9/7/6 on sails, 1/1 on marlin, and endless mahi and tuna. We were really hoping for our first slam of the season yesterday after having our sail and blue by 10:30, but just couldn’t find that stripy. Good fishing in the a.m. today, but petered out in the afternoon. Finished with a handful of mahi, keeping a couple for dinner. 4 for 5 on sails and a small striped Marlin. The bite is starting to pick up and it was clinic time yesterday. It’s hard to beat customers wanting to learn, so it was a hook your own fish day and even got a little help at the leader. Finished the day raising 12, 11 bites, and releasing 6. We managed to stay away from the mahi most of the day, but still ended up with six or seven in the 20-25# range.
