This day could not finish better... Despite all government regulations against the COVID-19, we managed to get ready and obtain permission and go out with few people in the boat maintaining social distancing. Our friend Peter from Canada's plan was to take his teenage son Dallas and have his great first deep sea fishing experience in the are of Las Perlas - Panama. We went out at 6:30 am, necessary schedule to be able to navigate quickly without so much wind and reach the fishing points to start the action. We tried trolling for a few minutes, then we changed to Jigging and captured some fish (snapper, Spanish Mackerel ...). We decided to change again to trolling to find some Mahi-Mahi, however at this time of year the water temperature is already beginning to be cold and this species changes its position... To clear the mind, we stopped at Bartolome Island to enjoy the beautiful waters and virgin beaches of this archipelago, all this to return soon to action and decide to search again a low depth to do Jigging and this time to make a Homerun with several biting until a great Amberjack came up on our boat. Not without first testing the nerves of our friend Dallas, who was consecrated with Rookie of the Year after this experience.

This day the fun exceeded expectations. Our friends from Italy enjoyed seeing dolphins, turtles and whales (they caught us off guard and did not appear in the photos) however it was an experience never to be forgotten. The day was excellent for fishing, multiple hits and several Mackerel. In the end we went to Isla Taboga and relaxed a bit before heading back to the coast.
