Wet Season means Sailfish!

Our winter, or rainy season, is a great time for fishing in Costa Rica. The afternoon rains cool things off for the next morning and the limbs that wash out to sea attract Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Tuna, and Sailfish. This half day trip with Paul we caught this gorgeous Sailfish, weighing in about 120 lbs. These fish are strictly catch-and-release, but we made sure to record the catch.
