Such an amazing fishery we have here in Newport!!! With personal best being broken and memories being made daily!!!

The recent bass fishing has been incredible! Using live pogies as bait has proven exceptionally effective, with bass aggressively attacking them right at the surface. The sheer power and excitement of watching these fish explode onto the topwater lures is truly breathtaking. It's been a thrilling experience to witness their ferocious strikes and the chaos they create. The aggressive feeding behavior is a testament to the abundance of baitfish and the overall health of the ecosystem. I've had several memorable encounters, with the bass exhibiting impressive size and strength. It's a fishing experience you won't soon forget!
