This was a rare afternoon trip but with my customers having to drive 3 hours from the NC Mountains to fish with me, it worked out just fine. We boated numerous Blue catfish up to 20 lbs and so we many perch we lost count at 100+. Not a bad summertime afternoon trip considering the heat index from 1-5 when we fished was well over 100 degrees.
