Bites on Fire For Alligator Gar Lets Go

Had a Dad and son come to target alligator gar below the spillway we landed over 50 feet of gar during our half day trip on bait and lures most of our fish were over five foot long. Gar season is offically here lets go catching dinosaurs!

Caught an army of big blue catfish today and a couple of big gar sprinkled in with then.

Landed over 30 catfish up to 30 pounds and several big gar on our half day winter trip at the dam. The bite has stayed red hot all winter.

If you're fishing from shore on the trinity you have a lot of opportunities to catch all kinds of species. Blue Catfish, gator gar, longnose gar, spotted gar, Drum, channel Catfish, white bass, the list goes on. Good times.
