2 man limit of redfosh on artifical. Caught about 20 total

Slow morning with just whiting but picked up mid day with a big bull shark and the a very surprised catch of a tripletail from the beach proving you never know what you're going to catch in saltwater.

The spring bite is on! We spent the day working the edge of the marsh along the ICW and found a limit of good sized slot redfish along with several reds over 30" and a nice keeper flounder on live finger mullet. After catching our limits of redfish we began working channels with depths between 8-10 feet and found a good mess of undersized flounder by slowly working chartreuse swim baits along the bottom.

Two trips this week has been very productive lots of water flow

Surface water temperature is 86 degrees. As in previous weeks, the water clarity is still stirred up in the majority of East Galveston Bay, with clearer water as you get closer to the western portion of the Bay, with a distinct line as you venture closer over to Galveston. We are finding a few trout & reds in the intracoastal around structure. This past week we have burned a good deal of gas and time taking the 40 min ride over to the Jettys to find clear water and a solid trout bite. We are utilizing Mirror Lure suspending hard baits, Swim Baits, and Tails with 1/8 oz heads in light colors. Our clients are still enjoying excellent success using Fish Smack Popping corks with a 1-to-2-foot leader above shrimp imitation lures, as well as Salt & Pepper Tails by WacAttack. The Topwater bite has still been good when utilized on our early morning and late afternoon trips, so if you like throwing walking baits, now is a great time to get on the water and make it happen.
