Fishing in the rain

What a day for this group. Solid rain for the first few hours of the morning. We also had some solid bites. 2 fish in the 7 foot range and one around 6 foot. Fishing is only going to continue getting better by the day.

A great few hours on the river today. A little windy but aome great reaults for this solo angler. A nice 6’10 (210cm) highlight.

This group had some real nice fish before this one. The highlight is a great 252cm x 108cm sturgeon. This fish put up a great fight with several runs in the 150 yard range. This is what memories are made of.

First time white sturgeon angler with an impressive 109” (277cm) beast to start the day off. A few other honourable mentions followed but what a way to start the day.

We had to work hard for these fish today bit we managed some nice results. Personal bests all around. The river is on the rise and fish are starting to be where they are supposed to be. Not long before they settle in and the bite comes back to normal.

A few first timers today and the fish did not disappoint. Many fish lqnded today. The smaller average size during the spring season sure allows for many opportunities. Todays bestbone was 73” or 187 cm.
