Winter Chinook fishing has been has been super productive in the Broken Group allowing 2 chinook daily. With lingcod fishing just around the corner we expect really good fishing early season. Prawn and crab has been extremely successful.

There's been plenty of salmon around all winter with returns to be expected higher than normal. You're allowed 2/day and have been catching this on a regular basis with no problems using downrigging gear and mooching rods, trolling spoons and herring.

Lingcod and halibut have just opened and has been a great fishing experience and catching regularly. Using a lot of bottom baits and paddle tails with our durable heavy duty bottom rods. Although the halibut size limit has decreased to 102cm, it hasn't been hard to find them in this slot category. We've been having great success every time we went out. Lots of prawns and crabs still around because commercial quota hasn't opened up yet, expect good results with both.
