Our family of four had a great time with Captain Bill. His goal was for everyone to carch a fish in th two hours; Mom’s goal was to not vomit from motion sickness. Two hours later, no vomit and three of us had caught one or more fish (A fun memory since it was Dad that missed out!). We’re all novices, but Captain Bill taught us and was patient with our questions. He was right there, keeping an eye out on all lines. It was a bit windy during our trip, but he made it seem like the perfect conditions. Two hours was great and flew by. Next time we’re back in the area, we’ll definitely do four hours. He’s right…fishing is a bit addictive! Thanks, Captain Bill!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Review for Captain Bill

If you’re thinking about booking a fishing trip with Captain Bill, stop thinking and just do it. Seriously. Our kids caught fish, we caught fish, and at one point I’m pretty sure Captain Bill could have convinced the ocean itself to jump in the boat if we asked nicely.

From the moment we stepped on the boat, Captain Bill was amazing with the kids—patient, encouraging, and somehow able to untangle fishing lines at lightning speed (which is apparently a required skill when kids are involved). He made sure everyone had a turn, knew what they were doing, and most importantly… actually caught fish.

The excitement every time a rod bent was unreal. The kids felt like professional anglers by the end of the trip, and we may now have a couple of future marine biologists on our hands.

The boat was great, the fishing was great, and Captain Bill kept things fun the entire time with jokes, tips, and just the right amount of “reel it in!” enthusiasm.

10/10 would absolutely go again. If you want a trip where the kids catch fish, parents relax, and everyone leaves with big smiles (and maybe some fish tales that get slightly bigger every time you tell them), Captain Bill is your guy.

Our son and friends love fishing and booked a two-hour charter with Captain Bill. Communication was wonderful and the boys had the time of their lives. First words out of their mouths were “that was awesome!” Captain Bill was entertaining, extremely knowledgeable, funny, has a great taste in music and perhaps even more importantly, lots of fish were caught.  Best charter captain ever!

We had a fun time catching some nice Sheepshead. We also caught a few Red Snapper,  but they were out of season.  We had a request for Redfish and Capt. Bill said he will try, but couldn’t guarantee it.  Capt. Bill delivered, hooking up with 4 big Redfish,  all over 20#. We couldn’t keep that size, but it was a blast catching them. can’t wait for our next trip.

Captain Bill was great!  We have fished before, but having fished before does not make us fisherman.  Captain Bill provided coaching and was not upset at all by the occassional missed fish that a real fisherman would have landed.  Captain Bill knew where to go, kept us on the fish, and set us up to catch more fish than we ever have on a charter fishing trip.  We highly recommend him and would definitely go back out with him again if we had the opportunity to do so.
