- I fished, captained, and crewed in many tournaments, both offshore and light tackle. As well as a committed captain, I am also a very keen and adept angler and have landed many a big fish for both me and my clients. In fact, I caught my first huge tarpon off Indian Rocks Beach, Florida at age 8, fishing with my dad. I recently sat all the examinations and tests to become fully qualified as a Master Mariner, completely up to date with the current demands and regulations for a modern-day captain.
