We had to cancel our original trip, due to high winds, and the next day when we went it wasn’t a whole lot better, but Captain Joe thought we could get it done. With 4 ft swells and and 20 mph winds, we headed to the edge of the reef. First Mate Derek worked tirelessly, and often struggled to keep his balance, but they put us on fish - many nice yellowtail, a good cero mackerel, and a huge mutton snapper - and then, a beautiful sailfish hooked up. This was our first fishing trip and Captain Joe Snyder and first mate Jessica were an amazing team. They made us feel very comfortable explaining how we were going to fish, handle the fishing gear and emphasizing safety first when moving around the boat. We caught a dozen Mahi Mahi, with 6 being keepers. My wife caught the largest at 8 pounds. We also caught three nice size tuna. Jessica cleaned all the fish separating the fish in various ziplock. Captain Joe and his first mate Derek are professional, knowledgeable, and bring high energy to the entire experience. Don’t let that intimidate you if you don’t have much experience though — they’re patient, vocal, and give clear instructions that put our hands on some absolute monster fish. Worth every cent, and we’ll definitely be back.

I brought my son, my brother and my brother’s son-in-law here.  It was a big deal before my son goes into the navy. What a great experience. Captain Joe and the mate worked ceaselessly to give us the best fishing experience we’ve ever had. Caught a sailfish, big fish, other fish, more fish. Their work and expertise produced a terrific time.

Didnt catch Mahi. but got alot of Yellow tail snapper. All in all worth it.
