My 18 year-old grandson wanted to fish in his grandmother so my husband and I gifted him this trip for Christmas. It was the first time he had saltwater fish, Captain Brandon went out of his way to make this trip unforgettable. My grandson landed three salmon, and one Pacific cod, the memories we made during this trip will never be forgotten. Our end of day Bonus was-the spot prawns the captain gifted us to take home thank you very much. Everything you did was truly appreciated.

Went fishing during the Herring spawn.  15 minutes bites in we saw a whale breaching and showing us her tail.  Caught 4 chinook. Then just when you think it couldn’t get any better, about 30 bald eagles started attacking a herring bait ball driven to the surface by diving birds. Take that National Geographic!! 

Captain Brandon knows his stuff!  Cool bits of information about the people who have lived here forever, the politics of the fisheries, the animals and of course the fish and how to catch them.  Brandon is worth more than he’s charging.  Can’t wait to come back.
