Big Black Marlin

Gen 25, 2026 Horseshoe Bay

Customer wanted to chase Marlin on a private full day offshore fishing charter and he had a day to remember. Ian hooked up 4 Marlin and this one was the pick of the day. After 1.55hrs battling this beast we got it to the boat and it came in at 3.1m long in which IGFA size measurements weighing at 250kg. Awesome display of top water action and deep water battle. Congratulations Ian.

We had such a wonderful fantastic day with Dom on Maggie island, unfortunately the weather wasn’t conducive to fishing, despite that Dom tried everything he could to find the best spots and catch something, we did a bit of trawl fishing and bottom fishing. Though they weren’t bitting as much the vibe, banter was just fantastic couldn’t have asked more did everything right. Dom has so much knowledge and history of the area and island, I not highly recommend Dom, I wouldn’t go with anyone... Altro
