I took a trip fishing about 10 years ago in the same area and had a blast with my boss. I wanted to do the same thing with my father. We originally had a charter planed for the day before with another captain but a really big front brought gale winds to the area so no fishing as done the day before. I booked a trip weeks ago for my husband and his buddies, and unfortunately the other charter service ended up being unavailable on the day we booked for unavoidable reasons. Captain Mike took the last-minute trip (literally the day before) and was very accommodating. It was my husband’s birthday surprise and one of his friends came 6 hours from out of town. He seemed to understand how important it was for them to have a great time and they their catch was plentiful. He won’t forget this trip... Altro

This trip wouldn’t have been as good without our Captain Mike. He made sure we caught something. We caught quite a bit. I caught the biggest fish I have ever caught, on this trip. Thanks Mike for being such a friendly guide!

3rd time coming down to fish in Barataria and it sure didn’t disappoint even with a bad front coming through. Mike put us on the fish and gave us some good suggestions for where to take our catch and get them cooked up after we got done.
