This was simply the best charter I’ve ever been on . The captain possesses and outstanding and amiable personality and was extremely knowledgeable about the area and where the fish were to be found .
We chatted the whole trip like we’ve known each other for years .
We both caught our limit of redfish in just a few hours and just caught and released the rest of the trip.
If you’re looking for a great charter than this is the one to book .
We’ve already planned another trip with them later this year to go out deep and fish some structure.

Our family caught 10 Drum fish & 1 Red fish!!!!!!!! Captain Mitch was the perfect host to take us out. Super polite, uber friendly, knowledgable and very kind. He refused to leave until our son caught a fish. 100/10!
A tip : Be sure to follow Captain’s Mitch advice about your fishing trip timing and have flexibility the day you book your trip. eg our trip was originally booked for 3pm but he advised us to fish at the earlier time of 1.30pm to ensure catching more fish.  So glad we listened!

Captain Mitch was prompt and responsive with getting the trip lined up. Fishing trip started with handshakes and introductions with explanation of the day on the water. The Four of us and captain set out for the day Mitch is very family friendly and knowledgeable of the Bayou. After a short boat ride we were into fish and landing Reds. Know mind you we are a fishing group looking to add catching different types of fish to our resume and Mitch was on I. Fishing was tough with a cold front pushing into the area and out of the 3 guides running clients we were the only ones landing fish. Now with all the knowledge, stories and smiles we achieved the Louisiana Slam of 4 different fish landed Reds, Sheepshead, Flounder and Drum. We landed lots of fish and normally only do catch and release but kept a few for table fare. We highly recommend Bayou Paradise Fishing Charters and Capt. Mitch for your next fishing adventure. Captain Mitch was the best. We had an unbelievable time. He was super communicative leading up to it. As for the day of, we had the best time. It was me and my two teenagers, and he was so informative and entertaining at the same time. My daughter was a beginner and he was really patient with her. He balanced our time between easier to catch fish and looking for the harder to catch fish. Captain Mitch just seemed really intent on making sure we had a great time. It’s clear he loves his job and seeing people enjoy fishing. And God bless him he filleted the 40+ fish we caught (we caught much more but stopped keeping em). Would def recommend going with him it’ll always be a good time!!

Capt Mitch was wonderful and had us on a variety of fish. The tide wasn’t the best, and while some of the other charter Captains were having trouble finding fish, Captain Mitch knew right where to go. In no time, we had Speckled Trout, Redfish, Drums, Sheepshead and Flounder in the boat. Capt Mitch shared a lot of information about the area, the ecosystem, and was a wealth of knowledge. He was also personable and funny, which made the trip even better! While cleaning the fish after our trip. He even gave us some advice on good recipes for what we’d caught. We would 100% recommend using Capt Mitch for your fishing adventures!
