Spring pattern is officially in effectโ€ฆ and the fish got the memo before some of yโ€™all did ? Quick inshore run turned into a solid box-checking trip: โ€ข 12 puppy drum ?? (they were stacked up and ready to chew) โ€ข 4 sheepshead (aka convict fish still doing time) โ€ข 1 pompano (because thereโ€™s always that one show-off) โ€ข 1 bull that pulled like he had something to prove ? Fast trip, steady bites, and just enough drag screaming to keep things interesting. Waterโ€™s warming up and the bite is only getting better. If this is how spring is startingโ€ฆ itโ€™s about to get real good. ? Whoโ€™s ready to bend a rod next?

When the alarm clock went off this morning, even the sun said, โ€œNah, Iโ€™m sleeping in.โ€ Thick fog, zero visibilityโ€ฆ perfect conditions to go find some fish that also canโ€™t see straight. Turns out the fish didnโ€™t mind the fog one bit they were chewing like it was an all-you-can-eat seafood buffet. If youโ€™ve been waiting for a sign to book a tripโ€ฆ this is it. Weekly fishing report Galveston, TX July 9th In this weeks fishing report, we have a tale that will make you reel with laughter! The weather was scorching hot, and so were the catches out on the water. Offshore, the red snapper were putting on quite the show, flaunting their vibrant colors. Meanwhile, inshore, the big black drum were strutting their stuff like they were auditioning for a fishy fashion show. These drummers had rhythm, and they weren't afraid to shake their tail fins to the beat of the ocean. But wait, the excitement didn't stop there. Sharks were crashing the party, doing their best impersonation of Jaws. They were the ultimate party crashers. It was a real-life thriller, and the fishermen couldn't help but hum the iconic "dun-dun" theme song as they reeled in their lines. And let's not forget about the stingrays, the underwater pranksters of the sea. They were like stealthy ninjas, sneaking up on unsuspecting anglers and giving them a shocking surprise. So, if you're looking for an adventure on the water. From diva snappers to dancing drummers, from shark scares to stingrays , it's a show that Mother Nature herself would applaud. Weekly Fishing Report June 26, 2023 Despite the hot weather, the fish seem to be biting like crazy. Red Snapper, Frisky Redfish and sharks. Maybe they're just trying to cool off in our A/C! And let's be honest, with the rough offshore conditions, it's like we're on a rollercoaster ride out there. Who needs Six Flags when you can get your adrenaline fix on a fishing boat? Just make sure to hold onto your hat (and your lunch)! And if you're lucky enough to catch a monster red snapper, make sure to take a picture and show it off to all your friends.
