Cody was a professional through and through. It was unseasonably cold and after catching a nice red on the first cast, the fishing turned off. Luckily, he has years of experience fishing the area.  He moved us to spot after spot until we found the right one. My son and I caught over 40 fish mostly reds, sheepshead and some black drum. Captain Cody will be my first call next time I’m in the area and he should be yours also. He was a great Captain and and also a fun personable guy to fish with.

My 15-year-old son asked for only one thing for his birthday, to catch shark while we visited Mount Pleasant, SC. I panicked b/c we were only there for two days.

I found Captain Cody’s site and he offered an exciting ‘shark fishing adventure’ which fit perfectly into our schedule. He promised that we would catch a shark and we sure did!!!  My son didn’t catch one, he caught six & three broke away within two hours!!! It was the most exciting trip we’ve ever been on!!!

Captain Cody took the time to explain every question my son had. He carefully identified all of the sharks that my son caught and even gave us a brief history of the different islands and beaches topography around us.

We had an absolutely amazing trip with Captain Cody! From start to finish, it was an experience to remember. Cody’s knowledge of the area was impressive! He knew exactly where to take us, and we ended up catching tons of sharks!

Our 13-year-old was in heaven reeling in so many different types of sharks. Cody was fantastic with him, patient and encouraging, making sure he had a great time and learned a lot along the way.

As a guide, Cody was everything we could have asked for: friendly, professional, and always ready to help out when we needed it. He explained things clearly and made sure everyone felt comfortable.

Took my wife and son on a 4 hour morning bull red/shark charter, it was my son’s 18th birthday and he wanted a shot at a bull red. Not only did he get his shot at one, but we pulled many great bull reds and sharks in to the boat! Captain Cody knows the Charleston waters inside and out and had us on the fish immediately! He was great with instructing us on how to fight these big fish and to top it off his customer service is 5 stars! He’s a great communicator as well and we’ll be booking with him again this Fall and in the future. Truly an incredible day and will be a birthday experience for my son that none of us will ever forget!

My son and I had a great time fishing for his 16th birthday. Captain Cody was awesome! A few days before the trip he sent us a message letting us know that the fishing was better a few miles up the coast and that worked for us. It was just my son and I for the whole 4 hours and we got lots of 1:1 instruction from Captain Cody. The first couple spots we went to, we didn’t catch any fish, but we kept trying until we found where the fish were biting. My son caught the biggest fish he has ever caught… it was actually too big to keep! We were able to bring some fish home also and Captain Cody filleted it for us. Overall great trip! Would definitely recommend!
