Got a quick trip in this morning with Wayne before the winds roll in and it turned into an absolute bite. Started off trolling and it was lights out. Switched over to casting jigs and kept right on catching. Wayne boxed a few for dinner and let plenty more swim. Water temps are sitting at 61.5ยฐ with fish holding in 40โ€“50 feet. This bite is only going to get better from here. Iโ€™ve still got a few dates open in April and May before these fish move on nowโ€™s the time to get in on it!

Not all trips can be stellar. We covered a lot of water and a lot fishy areas this afternoon. The bite was off for everyone I talked to. We did see some of the sights and still made the best of a bad bite. Can catch them every trip but dang if we didn't try.
