Ken has good equipment and a nice boat to ensure that if I hooked a sturgeon, I had the best chance to get it to the boat. Ken is very knowledgeable of the fish and the area we were in. He knows the spots that would give me the best chance to catch a nice one. I will definitely hire Ken again when I am in the area to fish for sturgeon or salmon!

The captain was a very friendly, nice guy. You can tell he really enjoys fishing and knows a lot about it. We enjoyed fishing for salmon, the river was beautiful, the captain was on time and waiting for us, The boat was clean, there’s a cooler for drinks, and plenty of room to move around. We enjoyed the experience!

Mr. Burns is very knowledgeable when it comes to fishing in the Pacific Northwest. He has been fishing this area since he was a child and it is his passion. He was gracious enough to keep us out in the water as long as we wanted. I highly recommend Mr. Burns as a guide. We look forward to fishing with him again!

Captain Ken was very kind to me and my brother from the second we got on the boat. He walked us through what to do when we get a bite and before we knew it we were putting what we learned into action.  We caught many super large sturgeon and had some fun conversations in between. We will be back soon!

20 sturgeon in 5 hours. Caught first fish 27 min in. Landed a 64” and 66” back to back. Still have a bruise in my hip from anchoring the rod while reeling in fish all morning. Ken was super personable and knowledgeable and the boat was perfect. Already figuring out my next trip. Thanks Ken!
