Jacinto and his crew mate Victor were great and gave their best effort on our fishing trip at the end of July.  Unfortunately our bait choice was limited to sardines as the mackerel was not available.  We trolled the north side of Isla Carmen for a few hours before giving up and moving closer to land to catch some bass and snapper where we had great success catching 12+ fish.

Jacinto was on time and prepared to take us out for the day fishing the Islands of Loreto.  He had serveral different fishing rigs which allowed us the opportunity to catch different fish given the locations and time of day. The cooler was large and my wife and I were able to bring our own lunch and drinks for the day.

Though our success was limited this time.  I will definitely reach out to book with Jacinto on our next trip to Loreto and you should too!

I was so impressed from the minute I arrived. Jacinto, the Captain met us as we got out of the taxi. The captain and his crew, also a retired captain, know the waters, tides, and the very nature of the fish. We caught more fish than we expected and afterwards Jacinto cleaned our fish and bagged them for us. He will even freeze the fish for you to pick up at the end of your stay in Loreto, so you can take it home. We were told 50 pounds of fillets per person to the US. The cost of the trip was so affordable. The boat ride itself was absolutely gorgeous! He took us to see Coronado Island where wildlife abounds and gigantic pods of dolphins in the pristine Sea Of Cortez. This is the boat to take, the Captain Jacinto and his crew Salvador ( retired captain) were superior, safe, and engaging. We felt absolutely spoiled! Remember to bring your own lunch and drinks, they have a large cooler with plenty of ice. You will also stop on the way out to sea from the harbor to get your fresh bait. This will be an added charge, roughly 40 dollars but well worth it, and pretty much a guaranteed catch! Don’t forget, you must pay in cash the remaining balance, tip, bait and vacuum pacing ( if you plan on taking your fish home with you). Enjoy this gem of a place and catch some delicious fish!

we are not serious anglers. We just wanted a fun day and any fish would be bonus. Jacinto and Victor were amazing and we walked away with three yellow fins, and a sea bass! they did a great job and I would highly recommend them

We fished with Captain Jacinto and his deckhand Javier. They were a great team! They put us over a high spot at Punto Lobo and we limited out on big yellowtail the first day and got five the second day. We would have got more fish,  but their wasn’t much mackerel bait available for the pangas that day. They took us to a beautiful beach on the way back. We swam and walked the deserted cove. Great two days with fantastic competent, knowledgeable fisherman! Looking forward to our next booking with them!

We had a great day on the water! We brought home a couple yellowtails and enjoyed seeing whales, dolphins, manta rays, and seals. We’d definitely recommend booking with Jacinto and Francisco!
