Joe and Dan are the best crew I’ve ever had. Very nice and patient people, taught our newbies how to fish, and they truly care about their clients and the fish. Their boat is also super well maintained. I would highly recommend them to anyone. We caught quite a few porgy and weakfish. Thanks Joe and Dan for the amazing trip.

Our group consisted of 3 kids and 3 adults.  Capt. Joe and Anthony taught the kids how the rods and reels worked, how to hold them and what they needed to do in order to catch the fish.  It is tough to get a young kid to stay focused and try to hook and reel in their own fish which they did do! Anthony was hooking fish and handing off the rods to the kids to reel in which kept them busy all day.  We caught all different species of fish including the child favorite SHARK!! We were able to put 47 in buckets which Anthony masterfully filleted into perfect friable cutlets with not a single bone in any of the 47!!  Kind, compassionate, friendly, funny and professional!!  The boat was immaculate. The trip was sensational. The weather was perfect. Wind was out of the west. All of our charters in the future will no doubt be with Captain Joe and Anthony on Moontide!!  Thanks Guys!

Captain Joe and his 1st mate were fantastic. They both showed the ways of fishing in the sound to my son and helped create great memories. We would absolutely book them again.

Everyone on the boat caught Striped Bass within the fist hour of leaving the dock. There were a couple of keepers and we had a fish feast that night.

Covid concerns have kept us home social distancing for 4 months.  We decided to take a private charter, just my husband and I, and it was a wonderful day.  The boat is clean and well stocked for everything you need. We brought water and snacks with us. Captain Joe and first mate Anthony were very knowledgeable of the good fishing spots, supplied the rods, reels and different baits.  They put the bait on the hooks for us as needed, and took the fish off the hook when we reeled one in.  I appreciated that more than I can say!  At the end of the trip, the fish were cleaned, and prepared to come home with us. I would recommend if you are taking a late afternoon trip, you wear sunscreen and bring a hat with a visor. The sun is beating down on you the entire time.  There is a covered section of the ship to sit and eat, and get out of the sun, and a small bathroom.  The first mate gets (and it’s well deserved) a 20% tip, so be sure to add that to your bill.  There is a parking lot at the pier, and it costs $5 to park your car there for the day.
