Our full day trip was canceled on Wednesday due to high waves.  Capt. Greg was able to move us to a Friday evening instead.  a little rearrangement to the itinerary and we were fit it in on our schedule.  Caption and first mate both made maximum effort to catch fish which we did.  Would definitely book again if back that way! Cpt Greg and Chris both had their own lingo. They’ve obviously worked together many times and got us on fish quickly.  I asked a billion questions like how do you tie on a copper line onto a reel and whisk shadows on the depth finder are fish.  They were happy to teach me everything I wanted to know.

This was our first experience with Dog Bone charter, Captain Greg and first mate were excellent! While we didn’t limit out, we caught a lot of salmon. We had 5 fishermen and the boat was very spacious and comfortable. We would highly recommend Dog Bone for your salmon charter!

Booked a father/son trip with my 17 yr old through Dog Bone out of Manistee. The trip was epic. We limited out and had an amazing time doing it. Captain Doug and First Mate Chris were great. They knew where the fish were and what they were biting. Captain Doug got phone calls throughout the 6 hour evening trip from other fishermen asking questions or providing info and updates.
