- I’ve been passionate about fishing since I was five years old, when my dad gave me my first rod, reel, and tackle box — a moment that sparked a lifelong connection to the water. Growing up, I fished for bass, crappie, and catfish, and that early excitement only grew stronger as I explored new species and waters across the globe, including during my time in the U.S. Navy. After moving to the Pacific Northwest in 1990, I became deeply committed to mastering its diverse fisheries and eventually turned that passion into a full-time career as a charter captain and fishing guide, operating since 2008. What drives me in this industry is more than the thrill of the catch — it’s the opportunity to share unforgettable outdoor experiences, help people connect with nature, and witness the pure joy of someone landing their first fish in these incredible waters.
- Tecniche
- For salmon I prefer to troll using downriggers for controlled depth fishing. For Bass, I incorporate all of the techniques for bass fishing, but drop shot is my favorite technique.
