Fishing has been tough for everyone on South Padre Island. I normally catch several nice fish from the Surf but none this week. Dave took us out and got us on some Speckled Trout we had two in the box in about 20 minutes. From there the bite seemed to just turn off Dave tried everything to find hungry fish they seemed to have just disappeared. There were several other boats out and I did not see one of them pull up a fish. It was one of those it’s fishing not catching days. But the whole time... Altro

Had an amazing time! Capt Dave Met me at 7 AM and proceeded to go over all the necessaries and then we set out. Once we came to our first stop Capt. Dave then gave a 1 min instructional demonstration and off to fishing I was! Great trip with Capt Dave. Although the fishing was slow today, we managed to land two good size Redfish, one 28 inch and one 24 inch. Capt Dave was super friendly and helped us improve our fishing techniques. We hooked a couple other Redfish or ??? but they got away, We caught a few small trout also but no keepers. Overall an enjoyable trip and we will definitely plan another one in the future!
