Josh took excellent care of me and my wife. He is knowledgeable and confident handling himself and his boat. We had a fantastic time! He took us to a spot on the river with abundant fish. We caught fish consistently—five within an hour. Though a few got away, Josh even cleaned our catch at no charge and provided us with a container to carry the fish home. Captain Josh was friendly and knowledgeable. I learned a lot and got to work on fly casting. The Manistee is a really amazing River. Although due to summer heat the trout were not biting that day. He made sure I was equipped with knowledge and skills to fish any river in the area. I would recommend his guide services. Lastly he made amazing venison burgers riverside.

My son and I had a wonderful fishing trip with Captain Josh. He was friendly, courteous, down to earth, and really took the time to help us. My son, an avid fisherman, tried fly fishing for the first time and caught his first brown trout. Would highly recommend this company, as the captain goes beyond his duty to ensure you have a great experience!

We had a nice trip even though we didn’t catch anything our guide was very nice, kind and knowledgeable. If we had a question he answered and taught us a few things we didn’t know for next time on our fishing trip.
