Took my Dad on an all day Sturgeon trip, the morning started off extremely foggy and cold. But The Captain kept us in the game!! We were getting several bites in the beginning but nothing would stick. Captain moved locations a few times and finally we ended up catching the fish of a lifetime!!!! I’ma single mom with two teens who grew up fishing in Minnesota. I know enough, but not much - so Captain James and DeckBoss Randy’s expertise and experience really shined. We’ve done several other charters and none have been as much fun, nor as successful as our trip with NorCal Traditions. James knew where to go and Randy was super helpful getting the fish in the boat! You can’t go wrong with this team and we look forward to future adventures!

I highly recommend James for a 2 to 4 person charter. We fished the San Francisco Bay and caught halibut, striper and leopard shark. Because of James‘s knowledge of the bay he was able to relocate us to all the hotspots. His boat was very comfortable and we had a good time. I look forward to the next trip with James.

James put us on fish with precision. If your not booking with him your not catching fish! Deck hand was awesome took care of everything professionally and proficiently. Don’t think I can book with anybody else ever again!!
