We went out looking for walleye, and unfortunately the weather wasnt cooperating.  He advised to either extend the trip or pick a different day, and that wasnt possible for us because we were only starting off a bachelor party here and other guests were scheduled to arrive at my home in the afternoon.  So we went out anyways and took advantage of the islands sheltering the water a bit.  it was not the ideal location and we were advised of that, but due to time and weather it was the only choice.... I wanted to introduce my son to lake fishing, and thought a sunset cruise trip would be a great place to start. So my friend and I brought our boys, and Captain Zac did an awesome job for us. From the start it was easy and a great experience. Very welcoming and helped us get set up and on some fish. On the drive home was already thinking of when we can take some time to do a longer trip, highly recommend for anyone looking for either a quick trip out on the lake or a first try to see how either... Booked a last minute evening trip while on vacation in Ohio for my two boys (ages 11 and 8) who recently discovered they love fishing. Zac was fabulous with my boys and helped them with everything they needed (since mom and dad don’t fish 😂). They caught several walleyes and fresh water drum. They had the time of their lives and it is an experience they will always remember. Will definitely book again if we come back.

My family took the Sunset Cruise Fishing Trip and had so much fun!  Captain Zac was very kind and helpful with my children who had never been fishing on a boat before.  He made sure we caught lots of fish and the experience was great!  We would absolutely book with him again if we take another trip to the lake!

Captain Zac was the best! He was so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful! He didn’t even get annoyed by our millions of questions :) he knew right where to go to get the fish and we had a great time. Everytime we cast we pulled in a fish. It was an awesome fishing trip!
