Steelhead is one of the best charters I’ve experienced. Great communication, worth the money for sure! My captain was Rodney. Super knowledgeable, very patient with my 10 y/o daughter. He was so accommodating, and a great teacher! Would totally recommend if you can find a date when they’re not booked. Absolutely understand why it’s so hard to find availability in their schedule… service and experience so good, of course they stay booked!

Rob helped me to find Kings on the Manistee below Tippy Dam on October 1, 2025. He took the time to explain how to catch these awesome fish. I would recommend him to anyone wanting to get onto fish and have a great day on the water.

Captain Anthony made a great trip for two dads and two teen sons. Captain Anthony was very personable, patient with us learning the rigs, made great efforts toward getting us on fish and was happy when we got some salmon. He knows the Manistee River well and had plenty of good, clean gear for us to use. We would use Captain Anthony again, anytime!

What agreat trip 20 + Browns all catch and release. Great caption in Rodney; the Brown trout whisperer! Had several steelhead on didn’t get any in the boat, not do to the Captins efforts, just hard fighting jumping and heading for the currents. Great time! Commin ack for the hex!!! Thank you guys !
