I went out solo with Bob on a beautiful Lake Michigan day, as a complete novice to these waters. I told him I was hoping to learn—and he delivered in spades. Captain Bob is an excellent captain and should be the captain on your next trip out! He is personable, a great communicator and put us on fish quick.  The weather was overcast and the water was choppy but Captain Bob prevailed.  All 6 people in our group, ages 12-63,  caught at least one fish and considering the size of our catch it was plenty! If there is any captain i would trust to have the best time ever its Captain Bob. We had the most fun and caught some great fish and memories. Captain Bob definitely knew his stuff and where to go. If I could give him a higher rating I definitely would. We will be coming back to see him again.

Bob was an amazing guide, he did a great job with my 3 younger kids. We all got to catch some amazing salmon and lake trout as well.  Grateful for his kindness and hospitality aboard the Mariah, the cooler of fish was a bonus!

Capt. Bob was excellent and entertaining!  Very knowledgeable!  We really enjoyed our trip.  We had four adults and 2 grandchildren (5 & 3).  Would definitely go again with Capt. Bob!!!
