Capt. Dan’s service was exceptional to say the least. He made sure my wife got to see the dolphins up close. He was super knowledgeable about the wildlife. At his request we went out at 9 instead of 7:30 as he was concerned about the bite and tides and he was for sure right. The bites came hot and heavy the latter part of the morning and it was on. It’s no wonder he has 5 stars! Definitely will be back and would recommend him to anyone. Just a super friendly man as well.

i dont even know where to begin. Captain Dan is absolutely an amazing person! He was so so friendly and made us feel right at home. He moved us around to diffrent spots teaching us ahout the local wildlife, and some about tybee. He taught me pointers on how to catch the fish and was happy for me when I did. I brought my two year old with and she was asleep on my lap so he even went as far as to cast the line for me! I genuinely can not sing his praises enough. My two year old was in an irritable mood and he done everything he could to not only let us fish but to make the experience enjoyable for her. We saw dolphins and he turned us around to where they were right beside us and even swam under the boat! He took us to a light house and told us about its history on the way to another
fishing spot. He even went as far as to get pictures of our catches for us and then filleted them, cleaned them, and bagged them up for us! He then gave us great advice on how to cook our catches. As much fun as the fishing was, Captain Dan makes this special! You could always find a fishing charter, but the kind of person Captian Dan is, is rare! He was so knowledgeable, and so so kind. Will definitely have to come back!!

Captain Daniel was great! Despite some seasonal challenges, we were still able to catch a pretty good amount of fish. He was very patient in teaching my 11 year old son the proper way to cast and techniques to use in the areas we were fishing. He was great at explaining a lot of the little details regarding various species and answering all of our questions.. We had a great time and I would highly recommend booking with him.

Captain Dan was AMAZING!  He was very knowledgeable about every single aspect of fishing as well as where the best locations for each type of fish were.  He was patient with us and had a lot of fun, local stories to tell.  We would HIGHLY recommend Hook and Cook for any fishing charter adventures, and are already talking about scheduling with Dan when we visit Georgia again in the future!!

Had a great morning of fishing the back waters around Tybee Island with Catch and Cook charters. My wife and I took our niece who hasn’t fished alot but with Capt. Dan’s coaching was fishing like a pro and having a blast. I’ve fished with alot of guides for various species and my yardstick is if my wife (and in this case niece) enjoyed the trip, we had a good guide. I know we’ll be back!
