I went out on a morning fishing trip with James and wow! it did not disappoint! James was quick to assess what sort of fishing I wanted to do and set to work quick! We were out quickly to the first spot to see what was going on, after a short while there was nothing so James was keen to move and that was a perfect decision. we were three mature (old) people including one who had never fished befire. we wanted to catch catfish. James, the captain, had a nice 23 foot boat and helped each of us catch some beautiful catfish. He handled the boat like an expert and knew right where to take us. It was a perfect day!

Awesome day fishing with captain James. We headed out early at 6am because he said it would be better for striped bass and boy was it. We started in one spot and they weren’t hitting so we quickly moved and then found a spot where they were on fire! All keepers! We even caught some large cats. We are so glad we booked our first Lake Conroe fishing trip with Captain James and Fish Head Water Sports! Our Captain had extensive knowledge of the lake and knew how to find great pockets of fish.
