I booked a 4hr morning fishing trip for 5 of us (a 14yr old and 4 adults).  We had a beautiful morning sunrise as we set out and Captain Joe’s boat was very nice and accommodated all of us well.  He definitely knows how to find us fish because we were reeling in Spanish Mackerel within the first 15 min of trolling.  After 3.5 hrs of being on the water, we had caught 31 Spanish Mackerel (15lbs)!  Captain Joe was very entertaining and made our trip memorable.  I can see why he’s got so... I booked this trip for my fiancés birthday for June 17th and it was the best day trip ever. He thoroughly enjoyed himself and caught lots of Spanish mackerel(I caught two but mainly was interested in lounging 😂). We also were visited by several beautiful dolphins while we were fishing in the early morning rays. It was just us, good tunes, and a lot of fish lol. As an experienced angler I had enjoyed fishing with Leverdrag Charter (Captain Joe). He’s a solid guy! Knows his fishing and where to go to find the fish. It was my wives very first time salt water fishing and she was just happy as can be! So much so she’s looking forward to our next fishing trip!!!! Shucks I get to fish even more! Lol! Let’s be honest here! It’s the dead of summer in WB and the niece and nephews have fished since young.. they know .. if there are no fish it’s not the CPTs fault. So going into this with a 16 YOF 15 YOM and 10YOM (with arm cast) I was very lucky. Little did we expect first reels released and fish catching .. it was non stop at times..: and we won’t complain.. yes we couldn’t keep those fish or eat them but the kids went in knowing that and were just happy to catch and release! What a great and fun experience, it was my first time out on a boat and both mine and my girlfriends first time on open ocean. Joe was such a nice and knowledgeable captain who helped us catch about 10-15 Spanish mackerel definitely worth every penny spent. would very much like to try out his full day trip based off how fun and relaxing his half day went. Can’t say enough about how much i recommend Joe and his charter experience.
