December 2024 Charter Report: December was an amazing month as tourist season picked up in Southern Nicaragua. The fish have been biting and we have been catching sail fish, mahi-mahi, Jak Fish, snappers, and a variety of other species. Our Adventure packages have also been a big success, showing various groups and families, the coast line, secluded beaches, and all of the fun activities to do on the water in San Juan Del Sur! It was a fun trip. Crew was very nice but, also not very helpful on giving feedback or describing how I should be presenting the lure. They had **hidden content** bait, but were not willing to try new tactics when nothing was working. We did the same thing for 4 hours.

Hey Jim, thanks for your feedback. When you go for Rooster fish it’s a very specific method to use. The live bait(which we go and fish out of the ocean for you two hours prior to your trip) and slow trolling around the areas the fish can be is how it goes. In the future, if you want to switch to trying to catch a different type of fish, then please let our crew know. We would be more than happy to change things up, but we were focused on trying to catch the fish that you requested specifically and sometimes the fish can hit at the very end of a trip. The lure you used for casting was a basic popper. It’s a commonly used lure. If you don’t know how to present the lure, please ask and we will be happy to show you. Once they noticed you did not know how, they showed you. I understand then you got a few bites but could not get them hooked. Thanks again for your trip with us and we hope that you get more fishing experience out on the water soon. The crew had a good time with you guys and sends their best!
