This was one of, if not the most outstanding fishing excursions ive ever had and I’ve been on many. Capt Mark and crew handled everything with ease and we were on fish within 10 minutes and cought walleye and steelhead limits in nearly 2 hours. Most definitely recommend and i will be back too.

The captain and first mate worked their backsides off to get us fish. We lost a few at the boat but still managed to fill the cooler. I would highly recommend IBTL charters for Lake Erie fishing

I’m a complete novice that, remembering the fun I had fishing with MY Dad, tried to introduce my kids to fishing. They MIGHT have had fun but it was an exercise in frustration for me as I tried to remember all the important stuff and pass it, like tying knots, untangling line snarls, and setting a hook when getting a bite. Captain Mark’s charter fishing was like night and day compared to that. Instead of bobber fishing we were trolling lines, and without his expertise I had no way of knowing if there was a bite on the line or not. He demonstrated and explained his techniques as we proceeded throughout the morning. There was zero stress and all enjoyment as I learned fish behaviors and soaked up all the beautiful lake environment. My husband and daughter, also beginners, had as much fun as I did, if not more. With Captain Mark’s guidance we scored some really top notch walleye, one of them qualifying to register as a “Fish Ohio” fish at 28” long. He was equally competent at cleaning them for us too, so every usable part of those fish is now residing in my freezer. What a great introduction to walleye fishing we got from In Between the Lines! I will definitely book Mark the next time I want to fish Lake Erie!

To start, Captain Mark is simply a great guy - nice, friendly and all about customer service. I met him at a fishing show where we were both vendors and after just 10 min of conversation, I knew I wanted to book him for a walleye trip. His communication leading up to the trip was excellent and so helpful. His boat is massive, well configured and plenty comfortable for 3 anglers. His first mate Ken was just as friendly and helpful. Mark’s mission was simple - get us on fish and make sure we had a great time and we did! He was awesome to fish with and he stayed down with us fishing while Ken was driving the boat a good part fo the day. He tended to us in every way and we joked around and simply had a fun day while catching some nice fish!
