Moored up on the New Meadows watershed, we will get to slinging line for 4-5 hours depending on the conditions and ambitions! Drifting runs, casting flats, and hunting shallow water ledges for the willing Striper. I keep it loose and the lines tight. Music is always preferred as fish love tunes. Come enjoy the great fishery and environment we have been blessed to partake in. Catch and Release is highly encouraged.

Head out in Casco Bay Portland on an epic fishing adventure with professional fishing guide, Captain Bryan Rosa. Spend the day exploring the beautiful waters of Casco Bay and its many Islands in search of feeding stripers in the river mouths, rocky ledges, and many coves! All necessary gear is provided!

We will start the trip at Strout's Wharf. This is a real working fishing harbor. We will pass lobster boats and fishing vessels leaving the harbor. Once out of the harbor, we'll open up to a speed of 30 knots, heading to whaleboat island to jig for mackerel. We'll pass small islands, see harbor seals and porpoises, and witness lobster boats pulling lobsters from the cold Atlantic water. Afte catching bait, we'll head to spots to live line for striped bass as well as casting and fly casting fo these fish.

We usually leave Ouqossoc around 8am with lunch in hand from the market. The time of year and word of mouth from my guide friends and the type of fishing you want to do,ie. euro nymphing, streamer fishing, small pound dry fly fishing, trolling streamers, generally dictactes our plan for the day. We usually load in my Ford 150. I have sirius radio and all my saftey gear for back woods traveling including a cb radio in case we need to get in touch with the outside world. Truckers and gamewardens monitor..

This will be a 4- hour Striper fishing Trip

We have 4- and 6-hour Striper trips, and Offshore Ground Fishing is booked for 8 hours. We'll accommodate kids' fishing and harbor tours. In most cases, we can modify trips according to customer requests.

We offer a great half day trip in the Mount Desert area targeting striped bass and can accommodate up to 6 people of all ages and abilities.

Join Gary for a Maine coast, on-foot, fishing adventure for up to 2 people. This experience can be customized to meet your level of experience and desired tackle. We can design an experience around what terrain and type of fishing you are looking to do. Targets will be striped bass by fly or spin. Fishing will be 4 hours. Snack and drinks are provided. NOTE: This experience can be physically demanding dealing with rough terrain, surf and weather.
