This charter aims to knock off a bucket list of fish for the most hardcore fishermen, the Pacific Halibut. Pacific Halibut or Alaskan Halibut are ferocious fighters and amazing table fare. These fish flood into the waters surrounding Ketchikan starting in early May and will be around all the way through Sept. 2025 Halibut Regulations, size/bag limit will be 1 fish per person under 37" or over 80". Halibut retention will be closed each Tuesday. Please reach out to your captain if booking for a Tuesday.

6-hour Salmon fishing for cruise ship passengers. Departure times are available as early as 6 am.

All five species of Pacific Salmon can be found in the waters surrounding Ketchikan, with overlapping runs from May through October. Generally speaking: Kings (Chinook) run between May and July—but often don't open for retention until mid-June. Sockeye run June-July. Pinks & Chum run July-August. Silvers (Coho) run June-October. Salmon is the main focus but we're happy to change things up! Light tackle jigging is tons of fun, too. We can also target Halibut, for catch-and-release.

Having the full day range, we are able to get out to more productive grounds as we target King Salmon, Coho Salmon, Pink Salmon, Ling Cod, Black Sea bass, Pacific cod and Black cod. While the fish count is greater on these charters we often see more wildlife along the way as well including Humpback whales and Porpoises. I highly recommend this charter as i strive to make it memorable and abundant with the catch. Fish Processing is offered at the dock we depart from and we also offer lodging if needed.
